'Greening-up' Peterhead

You may have noticed some beautiful and bright flower displays go up around Drummers Corner and across the town centre. Tom Mallett is the Greening-up sub-group Chair and we give a huge thanks to Tom’s hard work and enthusiasm for the project. Rediscover Peterhead has provided portable water bowsers and piping for the group and we are a looking forward to more projects coming up over the next few months, including establishing a specific supply of flowers for next year by ordering ahead in time for planting by Aberdeenshire Council this autumn.
In conjunction with the Greening-up project, we have more litter pick-up dates planned over the next few months, and a project to give the Welcome to Peterhead road signs a new lease of life, to make them more … welcoming.
