On 21 August 2018, Liam Kerr MSP, Peter Chapman MSP and David Duguid MP visited the Rediscover Peterhead office and two local businesses within the town centre. As a part of the Scotland's Towns Partnership #MSPTownTime programme, local MSPs and MPs have been connecting with local towns to learn more about key issues, challenges and successes.
Scotland's Towns Partnership is Scotland’s largest towns’ collective; representing and promoting the diversity of our towns and places and supporting those organisations and groups that have an interest in or ownership of them.
Thanks to Darcie Laird of Daisy Chains Florist and Gilbert John Burnett from Buchan Aquatics who kindly opened their doors and spoke to us all, sharing their stories of opening businesses in Peterhead and some of the challenges they have faced.
Thanks again to Aberdeenshire Council, Liam, David, Peter, Darcie and Gilbert for your time and support!
