Situated on the very corner of the north-east coast, Peterhead can be accessed by road from the north, south and west.

Whichever route you take, you will be sample some impressive scenery – whether it’s the rocky cliffs of the Bullers o’Buchan or the tranquil rural countryside this area is famed for.

The A982 forms the main route into Peterhead from the north (coming from Fraserburgh) and south (coming from Aberdeen and Ellon), while the A950 brings you in from the west and the network of villages which forms Central Buchan.

We welcome walkers and cyclists – particularly as Peterhead is proud to be a cycle demonstration town.
