Below is an overview of what happened at the festival in 2019

Throughout the day local chefs and skippers including Jimmy Buchan of Trawlermen fame cooked up a treat in the Fishmarket Zone.

At the top of Broad Street up next to the Field Marshal Keith Statue, Jackson Trawls will be on hand with fishnet mending displays during the day.

Learn more about the different kinds of nets, watch skilled net menders at work and maybe have a go yourself?

Avoid parking in the town and use the FREE festival shuttle bus from The Lido to the town centre!

The shuttle bus will be running every half hour on the day into town and back.

Please note that a number of roads will be closed in the town centre on the day.

Across the town on festival day, many shops will have stands outside their shops joining in the fun of the day - make sure you take the time to visit them.

You never know there just may be a festival deal or two to be had!

On festival day, Drummers Corner will become a hive of music, craft beer, coffee and food.

After spending time in the various zones of the festival, take some time out with a coffee or a beer and bite to eat whilst listening to local bands.
